Contractor Management

You’ve finalised your paperwork with Frontier Recruitment and now you’re ready to start work! Once you leave the offices of Frontier Recruitment you are not alone - this is NOT where our commitment ends… it is where it starts.

The following six elements make up the Frontier Recruitment Contractor Management Policy:

1. Dedicated Recruitment Consultant

As a Frontier Recruitment contractor, you will be designated an individual Recruitment Consultant, who will be your first point of contact for all issues relating to your contract.  Your Frontier Recruitment Recruitment Consultant will provide you with career guidance and ongoing support throughout the term of your contract. They will keep in contact with you through regular face-to-face meetings, phone calls and email.  Your Recruitment Consultant will assist with contract renewals and negotiate the terms of the new contract on your behalf.  As a contractor, you are encouraged to maintain a close relationship with your Recruitment Consultant – you, too, should initiate contact where required.

2. Dedicated Pay & Conditions Help Desk

In addition to your Recruitment Consultant, a dedicated Help Desk is available to you for issues relating to your pay, timesheets, management company issues, travel allowances, superannuation or other remuneration issues.  Please ring 02 6230 0355 and ask for ‘Accounts’.

3. Market Information

Your Frontier Recruitment Consultant will ensure that you are kept fully apprised of developments at Frontier Recruitment and in your industry sector.  All of our contractors are added to our ‘Hot Jobs’ email mailing list which is sent out each fortnight.  This email contains information about our current open jobs in your market sector. You will be given the opportunity to ‘unsubscribe’ from this mailing list if you do not wish to receive this information.  Our regular monthly Frontier Recruitment Newsletter is another means that we use to keep you informed.  Again, you will be given the option to unsubscribe if you do not wish to receive this.

4. Training Allowance & Discounts

As a contractor, it is up to you to maintain your industry skills and qualifications.  To assist you, Frontier Recruitment offers an annual $500 training allowance (conditions apply) and numerous discounted training options with reputable local training providers. 

5. Regular Social Events

Frontier Regruitment runs regular social events, such as BBQs and Happy Hours for its contractors.  These are in addition to other Frontier Recruitment functions (such as the annual Christmas party).  These events provide an opportunity for you to mix with us and to talk about contractor issues in a relaxed setting.

6. Frontier Recruitment Referral Bonus Scheme

As a Frontier Recruitment contractor, you are eligible for our Referral Bonus Scheme.  Frontier Recruitment will pay you a referral bonus of up to $1500 for identifying a new candidate (a candidate that we have not dealt with before), who is subsequently placed by Frontier Recruitment.  Some terms and conditions do apply.  Speak to your recruitment consultant for further information.
